Do you ever get the feeling that network Television is getting worse not better? Even considering CGI, reality TV becuzz studios and networks are too cheap to hire script writers, added to that slim ad revenue and one gets the feeling that TV is in the toilet. However there is a mere light in the clouds. It's called Retro TV or RTV for short. Real one hour dramas that are reliant on actors ability and a studios ability to deliver a quality product. From my favorite Airwolf to Battlestar Galictica to Buck Rodgers in the 25th century here are TV programs that have some real entertainment value. After looking over the vast landscape of vendors on TV advertising, the Knyte-of-Anarchy, as well as the AyreWolvez, have elected to put our ad money with two. Hulu.com and RTV, why? An audience that can remember the ideals that make up our organizations, as well as introducing youth to what real TV is and not what they currently see. Added to that I can watch RTV still on a analog signal. I watched the season finale of SNL Saturday night. It was so shitty that I wished that it had never been put on. What does NBC think about putting on this junk? Added to that NBC and its new cuzzin Universal Studios is releasing a movie of an SNL skit, called McGrubber. Its a spoof of the quality show produced by Mike Nesmith the lead guitar player on the 70's pop group the Monkee's.This is an insult to TV not the Monkee's, but McGiver. Abbreviated, on purpose. So if TV is making you sick, there is a very inexpensive viewing choice, its called Retro TV. Watch for our ad's there soon, with you know who, that's right RTV is going to begin running the Dukes this fall. There is hope for TV. Its called RTV.
