The days of anything free is about to end. While big web companies like Google , and Yahoo still gives you free email and apps, still others are going to have to charge or will charge for their services. While I fully understand that everybody needs to eat and pay their bills, I also wonder how much of things being charged for are for company or business survival and how much is greed? Charge you becuzz they can. Just this past month I caught a thing from Ning, that in July they are going to start charging for things, which means that for all our stealth blog sites etc, the club is going to have to pay. If we gotta pay, might as well get in gear to get our gig cyberspace wise put together. Which means snagging all the photos from each Ning site, all the blogs, put it all on a disc and give it to the site creators. Which brings me to membership in the Knytes-of-Anarchy. Each year our members fork over a whopping $50.00 for that years dues. However with that one payment usually billed as we’d never ask for plastic, in any way. But with that one set of dues, there are a trailer truck trailer full of freebees. Including the thing I promised I’d talk about. If a Knytes-of-Anarchy member has an independent business , related to what our club is all about, we have the capability of producing for free or at a very low cost, a better than best TV or radio ad. Complete with talent , music and writing the ad copy, and delivering a network level or better ad. If the customer is a none Knytes member they pay, but even that is lower than most, usually in the $150.00 per hour level. But that’s not all of the benefits of being a Knytes-of-Anarchy member. Besides having an ad production firm attached to us, we offer medical, dental, and even truck and or custom bike insurance, underwritten by a super than best insurance carrier based in SLC UTAH as well as in Boise.
